Jeff entered the cost segregation industry in 2013 and works with CPA firms, developers and real estate owners nationwide to assist them in obtaining the tax advantages afforded by cost segregation. He has special expertise in applying the IRS Repair & Capitalization Regulations and is a popular speaker on this topic.
His business experience includes over 20 years in the residential and commercial mortgage industry where he served in sales, marketing and management roles within the loan origination departments of several banks and mortgage banking firms.
He has also have been an avid proponent of applying web technologies to improving sales, marketing and operations, serving as an Internet technology consultant to loan origination firms. He worked at Microsoft during the dot-come era, helping them develop their online real estate and financing portal. Jeff started his career as a Financial Analyst with The Irvine Company, a major developer in Orange County, California.
He holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from UC Berkeley and a Bachelors degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
